  • Erasmus Generation Meeting

    Erasmus Generation Meeting

    4-7th April 2024

    Seville, Spain

From the first day I landed in Seville, the ESN Spirit was there, and I started finding ESNers everywhere. With over 1500 members attending the EGM, it wasn’t surprising to encounter each other in the beautiful streets of Seville. Once we settled in the hostel, we began a social program with ESN Sweden and ESN Latvia. Then we started the amazing Flag Parade. Imagine 1500 members with ESN flags and country flags, all with the ESN Spirit. That is a moment you will never forget, meeting your friends from all over the ESN countries and making new friends as well. All you need to say is “Hi” and “Hello.” After that, we joined the opening ceremony, where we had the official welcome from the international board and enjoyed a lot of cultural performances.

I attended three sessions, which were very insightful, not just personally but also ESN-wise. I was able to learn and devise plans along with highly enthusiastic people to bring the National Organizations and National Agencies together. Then I attended another session about the European degree with the Ministry of Education of Spain (if I remember correctly). I met many people from CEP as well, made some new friends and connections. Sadly, I couldn’t explore Seville, but we had a great closing ceremony and an amazing gala to finish off the EGM.
